Social Behavior Modification

$150 per session, 10-session sign-up

Performance Dogs will socialize the dog in conditions using techniques that promote permanent behavior modification. These techniques are proven to lower a dog's aggression threshold making it more sociable, controllable, and predictable in any condition.

Initially, Performance Dogs evaluates your dog's aggression threshold (AT) and classifies it in one of three categories:

Level 1: High AT (In general population w/ supervision)
Level 2: Medium AT (In general population with intense observation and supervision)
Level 3: Low AT (Only permitted in controlled conditions)

The AT is determined in an initial meeting with a Performance Dog trainer at the Performance Dogs facility. Once SBM is initiated, there are 3 training tracks that the dog can take.

All Performance Dogs SBM tracks are 10 weeks long and include a 1 month membership for Saturday workouts and SBM reinforcement. For dogs with Level 2 & 3 ATs, we recommend a more frequent training schedule of 2 times a week or until rehabilitated followed by Saturday sessions each week for owner-dog reinforcement. For dogs with Level 3 AT, special times and training conditions will need to be implemented. This can include evening sessions that include the dog owner. Additionally, for Level 3 ATs we use the Performance Dogs dog pack for SBM.

After the SBM you can expect to CONTROL your dog among random general populations of dogs in off-leash conditions and exhibit NO aggressive behaviors.

Cancellation Policy

 

In the event of the cancellation of a workout or training package, a 15% Service charge will be deducted from the remaining balance due to be refunded back to the client.  Refunds will be received by check, or by a refund on the credit card used to purchase the workout/training package.  Method of delivery is at the sole discretion of Performance Dogs, LLC.  All refunds will be processed within 4-6 weeks of initial request.
