is an entrepreneur with over 15 years of start-up and management experience. He
is an avid dog competitor, spending most of his spare time training, competing,
and enjoying his American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT), Precious. Together, they are
a nationally ranked team in DockDogs—the long distance diving competition
for dogs, which can be seen on ESPN Great Outdoors. By competing in mainstream
competitions such as these, and showcasing this breed's true capabilities, Steve
is determined to change the perception of the APBT. He also competes and trains
in agility, obstacle course and lure coursing. Steve developed Performance Dogs
out of his love and fascination for the dog. | | | Brian
has been a dog lover since childhood, his favorite breed being the German Shepherd.
So it's only natural that before founding Performance Dogs, Brian was working
as a volunteer with the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue. During his time there
Brian trained, fostered, temperament tested and transported dozens of German Shepherds
in need. Throughout his 10 years experience he has worked with many dogs-usually
several at once. He specializes in strengthening the relationships between owner
and pet, as well as developing a dog's social skills. |
